Overview
- NEA is a 3rd party company we use to send xrays, photos, & documents electronically and securely to insurance companies.
Process
- Front Desk team members send NEAs every evening before sending claims for:
Nitrous oxide
2. Corrected codes
3. EXT necessity
4. Billing provider / Treating provider
These are only PREOP xrays, no postop!
- The next Day Front Desk team members check Vyne to see if additional items needed
- Billing specialists only sends/checks on NEAs after EOBs have been received
